Anglesey

Possibly of Old Norse origin, from Ǫngullsey (“hook island”) (ǫngull + ey) or Ǫnglisey (“ǪPossibly of Old Norse origin, from Ǫngullsey (“hook island”) (ǫngull + ey) or Ǫnglisey (“Ǫngli's island”), the name Ǫngli itself being a variant of Ǫngull and from the former noun.
